Celebrating Myo Cafe’s 10-Year Journey: A Successful Birthday Campaign with The Digital Beour11/25/2024 When Liam, the owner of Myo Cafe, approached me to help mark the 10th anniversary of his beloved café, I was thrilled to be part of such a special milestone. The goal was clear: to create a campaign that not only celebrated Myo’s rich history but also engaged the community that made it all possible. To celebrate their birthday, Liam announced a Samhain Tea Party and Fundraiser for Gaza. Here's how we brought the celebration to life and the incredible results we achieved together. The Campaign Vision We started by outlining the key deliverables to ensure the campaign would strike the right balance of nostalgia, celebration, community and action: 1. Community Engagement:
3. Press and Events:
The Results The campaign exceeded expectations, both online and offline. Here’s what we achieved:
Why This Matters This campaign is a testament to what thoughtful, community-centered storytelling can achieve. By focusing on Myo’s roots, its people, and its story, we built a campaign that not only celebrated 10 wonderful years but also strengthened the connection between Myo and its community. If you’re considering a campaign for your business, whether it’s a milestone celebration or something else, I’d love to bring your vision to life. Let’s make your story the centerpiece of something unforgettable. This isn't the first time I've worked with Myo Cafe: I managed the cafe's social media to give it a serious boost in views and followers before Liam took it in-house.
Here is what Liam had to say about our time together (February-June 2024) "I hired The Digital Beour to initially work on the social media for the cafe and she gained us over 1000 followers in three months. Our videos ended up being viewed by between 6k to 60k people, all organic reach. Her in depth knowledge of influencers, the workings of the platform & unique writing skills meant our posts connected with people and we had people coming in to the cafe just off the back of the social and connecting with us in ways that hadn't happened previously. We even had people writing to us from Brazil. She really was able to capture the essence of the place properly and communicate it in inspiring ways. After the initial contract ended, we settled into an organisational role where she now manages admin and events for us and feeds graphics to an in-house social media manager helping us with content where needed. Highly recommend Christina. Her work is impeccable and she's always flexible to work with." -Liam Mullany, Owner, Myo Cafe
